This is a follow-up report done by KHON 2 News almost six months ago on an illicit kitchen built by a Maui County Public Works supervisor and used for his catering business.  It appears Hawaii County isn’t the only county in the state plagued with misuse of county credit cards and public funds.  There are also reports of some Maui Parks employees running an undercover vehicle maintenance facility.  Those responsible for this breech of public trust and outright fraud should face trial and be held accountable.  Let’s hope someone with backbone can clear up this mess.
