Sometimes, dreams come true, if only for a moment.  For Texas teenager Alyssa, her dream to visit the John A. Burns Medical School at UH-Manoa came true on Friday, 29 July 2016.  A warm reception by UH-Manoa cheerleaders at the Stan Sheriff Center paved the way for a short trip to the medical school, where Alyssa was given a white lab coat and made an honorary member of the class of 20120.  Alyssa told KHON 2 News that she wanted to “become a doctor and help people who are battling bone cancer.”
