Dennis Francis, the president of Oahu Publications, says 8 positions in his publishing business will be eliminated, with employees being offered buyouts if they chose to leave the company.  Francis didn’t specify where the cutbacks would be made.  Oahu Publications publishes the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, MidWeek Magazine, West Hawaii Today, and the Hawaii Tribune-Herald.
