Comment:
University of Hawaii-Manoa president David Lassner will wear two administrative hats, beginning 01 September 2016. The UH Board of Regents approved Lassner’s appointment as interim chancellor until a permanent replacement is found. Current interim chancellor Robert Bey-Vroman chose not to be reconsidered for reappointment. Lassner said the search for a new UH-Manoa chancellor is underway, and hopefully the position will be filled by the spring 2017 semester.
