Effective Monday, 03 October 2016, 157,000 Starbucks employees, including those in Hawaii, received pay raises ranging from 5 to 15 percent.

Customers will underwrite some of the pay increases.  In July 2016, Starbucks officials raised the price of some of its drinks by 30 percent.

A little too rich for my wallet.
