Summary:

After first stopping in Key West, Florida to clear customs and to change crew members, the Hokule’a ocean voyaging canoe made port in Fort Myers, Florida following a brief stay in Havana, Cuba.  During its stop near the everglades, crew members exchanged cultural experiences with the Seminole and Miccosukee Tribes, which once had a navigation-based culture similar to native Hawaiians.  The crew will rest up for a while before they set sail for the east coast of the United States and Canada.
