On Saturday, the Hawaii Police Department reported major issues with the phone system serving the main station at Kealakehe.  Until further notice, those needing police help for non-emergencies should call 935-3311. Emergency calls should go to 911.  There’s no word yet on what caused the phone problem or when it will be fixed.
