Two storms are headed for Hawaii.
Madeline has become a tropical storm and is currently 1,235 miles east-southeast of Hilo. Madeline should become a hurricane by Monday, but will weaken slightly into a tropical storm before passing east of Hawaii Island Wednesday afternoon.
Lester is now a hurricane located about 550 miles from the tip of Baja California. The storm is headed west and could be near the islands by next weekend.
