A missing child case has finally gone to court.  According to the lawsuit filed Wednesday, the boy, who was five at the time of the incident, walked away fro Kauluwela Elementary School in Liliha during recess. The boys parents were told until they came to pick him up after school. A bus driver spotted the child walking to Waikiki.  Honolulu police found the boy and returned him to his parents.  The boy’s mother, Gabrielle Valdes, is seeking damages for loss of income and emotional distress.  The teacher involved resigned in 2015.
